Selah Weekend 12 Jan(Seremban)
Selah Weekend 19 Jan (Melaka)

2 Saturdays; 2 Selah Weekends for 2 groups of medical students in the South. 13 students choose to set aside one full day to 'pause' and listen' to God. They started the day with leisure activity as part of their personal reflection and making sense of their lives over the past 6 months. Many appreciated too the time spent pondering on the Word and drew closer to God who has been with them in their journey of faith. It's the Selah with God that keeps them moving forward.

Time Out
(10 March ’07)

Time Out was what the students’ leader needed. It was a time to be away for a few hours on one Saturday morning to just spend the time with God. A time to encounter God and as oasis experience for those who came. It began with a short time of worship and devotion before each of us had a personal reflection time. 9 students came to a beautiful and calm lake. There was where Sabbath experience began.

Wordilicious Investigator Group
(20, 27 August, 3 & 17 Sept ’07)

8 students came over 4 Mondays night and we have completed the study on the book of Haggai. It was exciting to look at the Word of the LORD that came through Haggai for Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak and the remnant of people who came back to Jerusalem after the exile. The phrase “Give careful thought to your ways”
has been repeated over
and over again in the text and has caught us thinking about it. 2 questions remain with us as we ended the studies; “What am I busy building”? & “What remains ruin”? in our context. Now as we have completed the
book of Haggai, would we be able to
recognize him when we see him in Heaven?

Something ‘Fishy’ Melaka (25 Aug ’07)
Something ‘Fishy’ Johor (8 Sept ’07)
To some who came for something fishy,
this was the first time they fishing at a river.
It was a good experience hooking the bait on the rod and wait patiencely for fish. 5 students from Melaka and 9 students from Johor came and trained to be Fishers of Men. It was a time to discover our gospel gems and identifying
our non-Christian friends. Indeed it was
a message of urgency to reach our friends
in campus with the gospel gems.

World Student Week (WSW) Celebration
WSW was celebrated this year in Johor
with the students. 15 students came
and it was a time to remember the
students in the Northern Region,
graduates in small towns and
East Asia student movements.
It started with a quiz to get to know
the students better from other part
of the countries and around East Asia.
Students went round the hall to find
and to read about the news from other regions.
Some students felt that it was
a good beginning to pray for others.
